Phoenix Baseball is an elite travel select and academy style program designed for upper level Middle School and High School players. Players age 13 through 18 years of age are selected through a pro-style tryout format and teams will play a heavy schedule of tournaments primarily in Middle TN beginning in May, after school ball is complete, and running through July. Phoenix Baseball is a joint effort with LYB and the experience and guidance of Cumberland University. There is a financial commitment associated with the Phoenix program and the anticipated schedule to include 40-50 games.
