Lebanon, TN Youth Baseball
We are an organization sponsored by both the Lebanon Noon Rotary Club and the Lebanon Kiwanis Club. The Lebanon Kiwanis Club and the Lebanon Noon Rotary Clubs have sponsored Little League Baseball and Dixie Youth Baseball leagues in Lebanon for a combined 70 plus years. Beginning in December 2012, the leagues combined as one league or a "Super League" to offer "a better brand of youth baseball in Lebanon." Lebanon Youth Baseball offers a competitive Spring league with NO Player registration fees based on the ongoing commitment of Kiwanis and Rotary.
LYB also offers a FALL BALL season for instructional play as well as the LYB Travel Select programs giving players the opportunity to expand on their level of competitive tournament baseball.
LYB also relies on yearly fundraisers by players and league families to support league operations. League sponsors and individual team sponsors are also an extremely important part of the overall success of the league.
Our Spring league teams are sponsored by and named for community business sponsors and are displayed on every player/coach jersey and hat.
Each season the number of games played during the season is determined by the number of teams created, which in turn is determined by the number of players who register to play, and the number of adults who offer to volunteer their time to coach. Each team has must have a team manager who takes responsibility for a variety of operations for their team, including scheduling scoreboard and concession volunteers from their respective team families.
