Lebanon Youth Baseball has put in place a travel select program beginning in 2014 to work in coordination with league players and the league's regular season play. Youth baseball continues to grow across the United States and here locally and many players and parents have the desire to play travel ball or club baseball at a higher level of play in tournaments locally and regionally. Local leagues such as Lebanon Youth Baseball have a constant challenge to continue to attract all local players of all levels to maintain a solid core league focused on developing all players to be the best they can be. The focus and mission of Lebanon Youth Baseball is and will continue to be advancing the level of play for all players in Wilson County, specifically Lebanon, and guiding the development of fundamental baseball throughout our league and community. In doing so, the Travel Select Program will encompass two divisions that will provide league players of all ages the opportunity to tryout and compete at a very high level of baseball in local tournaments through a reduced tournament schedule while maintaining the players's league commitment. The two divisions are as follows:
Lebanon Firebirds Baseball
Teams representing all league ages from 7 - 12 years of age. League play is mandatory for eligibility to tryout for the Firebirds. Teams will practice and play selected tournaments in coordination with league play.

Phoenix Baseball Academy
Teams representing ages 13 and up as players graduate from the league and Firebirds Baseball. Phoenix Baseball is a joint effort with the advise and guidance of Cumberland University and the vast knowledge and experience to help LYB progress the program with our players and the local Middle School and High School Programs.
